JOB ADVERTISEMENT AT THE OFFICE OF THE AUDITOR GENERAL OF STATE FINANCES (OAG)
Background
The Workplace of the Auditor Basic (OAG) is Rwanda’s Supreme Audit Establishment. It derives its mandate and independence from articles 165 and 166 of the Structure of the Republic of Rwanda of June 2003, revised in 2015. This mandate is detailed within the legislation no 79/2013 of 11/09/2013, figuring out the mission, organisation and functioning of the Workplace of the Auditor Basic of State Funds as amended up to now. The Workplace has authorized persona, monetary and administrative autonomy. OAG is liable for the next:
• Auditing and reporting on accounts of all public entities, native administrative entities, public enterprises, parastatal organisations and initiatives;
• Conducting monetary, compliance, efficiency (financial system, effectivity and effectiveness) and particular audits in respect of expenditure in all establishments referred to above;
• Conducting accountability, administration and strategic audits of accounts within the establishments talked about above.
