  1. To improve risk resilience, conduct studies, polls, and evaluations to pinpoint and track hydro-meteorological disaster risks.
    Conduct studies, polls, and assessments for monitoring and preparing for storm, landslide, and flood risks;

Work together with technical specialists from stakeholder agencies on monitoring and readiness for hydro-meteorological risks;

Set up imitation exercises or simulations of hydro-meteorological dangers;

Offer the Ministry technical advice on monitoring and preparing for hydro-meteorological disaster risks;

Take part in inspections on disaster risk surveillance and readiness organized by other parties;

Create checklists for hydrometeorological risks associated with disaster risk surveillance and preparedness.

  1. Create strategies for reducing and adapting to hydrometeorological risks.

Create strategies for reducing and adapting to hydrometeorological risks;

Offer recommendations for the use of technical instruments for hydro-meteorological risk surveillance and readiness as

monitoring and planning for hydro-meteorological risks, as well as taking mitigation and adaptation strategies;

Provide real-time data to aid in the management of risk for impending hydro-meteorological disasters.

  1. Create, evaluate, and update policies, strategies, plans, and initiatives related to the risks of hydro-meteorological disasters.

Participate in the creation of policy instruments for hydro-meteorological hazards to improve resilience;

Be sure to keep an eye on the programs, plans, strategies, and policies being implemented in relation to the risks of hydro-meteorological disasters;

Help the early warning system for hydro-meteorological disaster threats become operational.

  1. Assure that you are ready and prepared for hydrometeorological threats.

Make ensuring that hazard-based preparedness plans are created, reviewed, and updated for hydrometeorological hazards;

Identifying readiness gaps and developing suggestions;

continuously establish hydrometeorological risk levels and provide information for relevant actions such as awareness, early warning, and response;
