We are searching for extremely competent and driven professionals that are eager to work in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment to join our team.

Your role is to help an ambitious Pan-African firm create and maintain excellent supplier connections. You are in charge of leading the company’s supplier term negotiations, ensuring we get the highest margins, payment terms, and create solid partnerships throughout the national operations.

Regional Supply Chain Manager reports to

Location; Kigali, Rwanda

Key Responsibilities

Organizational

Negotiate supplier relationship terms and conditions.
Plan frequent reports and meetings.
Actively manage and monitor the purchase and delivery of items to warehouses to ensure KPIs are fulfilled and updated on a regular basis.
Improve supplier lead-time compliance through delivery tracking optimization
Managing supply chain linkages at the national level
Monitor all distribution agreement contracts to ensure that invoices from suppliers and POs to suppliers are in accordance with the conditions agreed upon.
Identify possibilities that will link supplier needs with company goals.
Manage and implement plans for acquiring and distributing commodities in order to keep stock levels stable.

Key skills and competencies

Preferred 3 years’ experience in a comparable capacity
Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a Related Field Knowledge of Procurement Management Procedures, Logistics Skills, and Strategic Planning Capabilities
Ability to operate efficiently and autonomously in a fast-paced sales environment Strong negotiation and consulting abilities, as well as exceptional data analysis and organizational skills
Interpersonal and analytical skills that are effective
Strong oral, writing, and presentation skills Willingness to travel throughout the nation for work
