Context:

The Infrastructure unit is a core body that collaborates with other Irembo divisions to provide excellent goods. The infrastructure unit’s duties and operations within the Engineering Team have been reorganized into three major categories:

Build and scale excellent infrastructure that promotes performance, reliability, and security while allowing for easy product releases.
Providing Monitoring and Observability to assist proactively discover long-term trends for capacity planning, detect outages, service degradations, and bugs, and shorten the time it takes to resolve Infrastructure-Related Incidents.
You will be a member of the infrastructure team, which is in charge of designing and creating network architectures that are scalable, maintainable, and highly available while meeting business objectives and SLAs.

For the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our expanding hardware and software network, firewalls, and server infrastructure. All installed equipment and infrastructure must be managed and monitored.
Operating systems, application software, and system administration tools must be installed, configured, tested, and maintained.
Maintain high network and server device uptime.
Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify viable solutions, and collaborate with developers to put those improvements in place.
Implement techniques for security, backup, and redundancy.
Create and maintain custom scripts to improve system performance and reduce the amount of time required for human interaction on any job.
Take part in the development of information and operational support systems.
Provide second and third-level assistance.
Liaise with vendors and other IT workers to solve problems.
Excellent interpersonal, writing, and spoken communication abilities.

Design and implement server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity policies.
Strong scripting and configuration management abilities are advantageous.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or comparable experience, is required.
