The Pan-African Parliament (PAP) is among the organs of the African Union (AU) as set out by the Treaty Establishing the African Financial Group (Abuja Treaty).The Parliament is meant as a platform for folks from all African states to be concerned in discussions and decision-making on the issues and challenges going through the continent.
The primary Parliament was inaugurated on the 18 March 2004, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Pan-African Parliament has its seat in Midrand, South Africa.
